Barton Buechner

Barton Buechner, PhD, is a Senior Adjunct Professor in the MA in Psychology with Emphasis on Military Psychology (MAMP) program at Adler University, and an Adjunct Professor in the Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change (CLIC) Doctoral studies program of the University of the Virgin Islands. His areas of academic focus are in the fields of military psychology and qualitative social science research, integrating perspectives of Somatics, Phenomenology, and Communication.
Dr. Buechner is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM) Institute for Personal and Social Evolution and the United States National Veterans’ Foundation. He is also a principal investigator with the “From Strangers to Collaborators” project organized as part of an international, multi-University partnership through the University of Lodz, Poland in conjunction with the Erasmus Institute for Public Knowledge, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
